You create an extra-dimensional “pouch” under your tongue. This space can hold up to one cubic foot of matter/2 levels, up to a maximum of 10 pounds in weight/2 levels. The opening to the pouch is verbally activated by you, and does not interfere with normal eating or drinking. Your mouth expands to accommodate large objects up to 2 ft. long or wide.

If the spell ends before the items have been removed from the extra-dimensional space, the contents are forcibly expelled, causing you 1d4 points of damage in the process. Once closed, only a dispel magic can deactivate the pelican pouch by anyone but you. Dispelling the magic causes any items inside to be lost in the ethereal plane.

This spell can be made permanent with a permanency spell (Minimum Caster Level 9th, XP Cost 500).
